Determinate, dwarf (tree-type) plants with regular, dark-green, rugose foliage and stout central stem, grows to 3' tall and are perfect for container gardeners. Plants produce 3-6 oz., round, oblate, with slightly ribbed shoulders, pink fruits with excellent, well-balanced sweet flavors that rival those found in Brandywine. History: Developed 2006 to 2011 by members of the Dwarf Tomato Project as a selection out of the "Grumpy" family. Made from a crossing of Budai Torpe and Black From Tula in 2006 by Patrina Nuske Small of Australia. A selection grown by Richard Allen of Australia was sent to Susan Bailey of Alaska, who named 'Yukon Quest'. Introduced in 2011. This is considered one of the "foundation bricks" of the Dwarf Tomato Project. This variety is associated with the Open Source Seed Initiative (OSSI).
