This is a family heirloom tomato that originated from a gardener from Dresden, Tennessee, named Buckley who grew this variety for many years and passed seeds on to Joe Atnip who named it "Britches" after his oldest daughter when she was a little girl. Our TomatoFest organic seeds produce tall, indeterminate plants that yield plentiful crops of 1-2 lb., ruffled, dark-pink, beefsteak tomatoes with robust and excellent sweet flavors. An excellent tomato for slicing into sandwiches or salads.
