There is no other food & wine event, anywhere, where you can experience such a splendid medley of imaginings and flavors borne of the tomato..than the Carmel TomatoFest.
Our gathering of culinary artists presents for your tasting, classic tomato dishes and innovative tomato excursions...with foods steeped in cultural tradition to food adventures. Similar to my introducing the palette of flavors offered by the many varieties of heirloom tomatoes, Carmel TomatoFest chefs have led the way to experiencing the possibility, range and pleasure of foods prepared with heirloom tomatoes.
Chefs from Central California and from across the country come here to prepare foods to showcase and delight you. We often have represented the nation's best Culinary Schools such as the California Culinary Academy/Le Cordon Bleu and The Atlantic Culinary Academy/Le Cordon Bleu and the Culinary Center of Monterey. The Carmel TomatoFest has demonstrated such culinary significance over the years as to invite the endorsement of The American Culinary Federation, the premier professional organization for chefs in America and The American Academy of Chefs, the ACF Honor Society, of the elite 800 members of the 25,000 members of the ACF.
